Genetic corns are with purple and yellow grains.
The colour of the grain is considered as a pair of character.
The purple grains represent dominant allele.
The yellow grains represent recessive allele.
The purple and yellow grains are found to be in the ratio of 3:1.
This corn is used to show Mendal's Law of segregation of character in mono-hybrid cross.
